Donating to Golden Backpack Program

The Golden Lions Club(GLC) donated the funds necessary to purchase a large freezer for the Golden Backpack Program(GPB). The Backpack Program was receiving more food than they could store, prior to distributing it through their food pantry. Golden Lions Bill Eckhardt, Roger Wagstaff, Judd Dickey, Ken Park and George Arrambide assisted the backpack staff with unloading a full truck load of dairy, fruits, vegetables and grains and stocking shelves with everything. They were finished in less than 2 hrs with GLC help. The GBP, headed by Leanne Dunn, was very appreciated for the much needed help. Thanks for all the help. Backpack Freezer
