The Golden Lions Club honors Lion Stoo for his contributions not only to our club but his service to Golden as a whole.

Stoo joined the Golden Lions on July 13, 1989 and was sponsored by Gary Granquist.

Lion Stoo jumped right in to the leadership progression as a Tail Twister in 1990-1991

Was elected a Director in 1994 - 05, became 3rdVP in 1997-98 and moved up the ranks to serve as club President in 2000 - 2001.

He served on the Board of Directors from 2004 -06 and again in 2008 - 10.

He was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellowship in June 2004 which is the highest award a club can give to a member.

Won the Lion of the Year award in June 2008 by an almost unanimous vote of his fellow members.

Requiescat in pace, Lion Stoo.

Before I knew Stoo. I knew his father, Judge Reinhard, who was a fine gentleman, lawyer and judge here in Golden. We all know that Stoo was a damn fine gentleman, friend and most of all a damn fine Lion. God bless you Stoo, we will miss you.
